How bad is parvo? Common Q. asked on February 4, 2025

If your dog exhibits any of these symptoms, it is crucial to contact your veterinarian without delay. Persistent vomiting and diarrhea can lead to dehydration, while damage to the intestines and immune system may result in septic shock. This condition can become life-threatening, with a significant risk of mortality occurring within 48 to 72 hours following the onset of symptoms. There are numerous diseases that have very similar symptoms to parvo so it is important to determine that with diagnostic tools offered at a vet.

What antibiotic kills parvo? Common Q. asked on February 4, 2025

Antibiotics are not going to "kill" the virus but will help support the puppies immune system with fighting off the ailment as well as help prevent other secondary infections.

What is the best way to fight parvo? Common Q. asked on February 4, 2025

Maintaining the puppies hydration is the single most important thing when fighting this virus. We prefer electrolyte fluids in small doses orally & sometimes via enema if they are not holding down the fluids orally for long. Other methods of course are sub Q fluids & IV but those are often not available for home use. Supplements to help reduce stomach upset are very useful to maintaining proper hydration and some anti-biotic support can be useful in supporting their depleted immune system.

What kills parvo virus? Common Q. asked on February 4, 2025

There are a few disinfectants available to kill bacteria & viruses (like parvo) on contact. We carry and use a product by Starbrite called Performacide which can be used on non porous surfaces to disinfect parvo as well as other viruses.

My rescue pup Benji was diagnosed with Parvo on Monday. after he had not eaten on Sunday I took him to the Vet. His test was positive with two lines showing.
I brought him home and started Vibactra Plus and Paxaid right away. He did not dehydrate to the point of needing fluids. On a schedule of syringe feedings, pedialyte and Amber Naturalz he never even doped diarrhea. He had vomiting every 2 or 3 hours but it wasn’t severe either.
Today, day 4 of active symptoms he is eating and drinking on his own!
I left to make a trip to the store and when I came into the laundry room he was sitting g at the door waiting for me and stood up with paws on my leg! I figured then he was ready to eat.
He has been drinking some water for a few days.
I also used the terminator zapper on him for the last two days, once I thought about it!!
Thanks to all you have available and sharing your knowledge I have a Parvo survivor!!!
    Just had to share!!!

I wanted to let you know how grateful I am for your company and products. They literally saved my dog’s life. Fifteen years ago, we were forever changed when our beagle Blitz came into our lives. My wife (fiancée at the time) and I lived in Los Angeles, CA and I brought home this little 10-week-old puppy who was cute as puppies can be. After a few days of playing, adjusting and falling in love with this little pup, she started slowing down. Quite rapidly Blitz stopped eating and was losing a lot of energy. We took her to our very trusted vet who told us that she had Parvo – a deadly disease for puppies. He said that the prognosis for puppies with Parvo were quite bad, could cost upwards of $3,000 in treatment, and had a low probability of survival after. Since we only had her for less than a week, he recommended that we take her back to where we got her, before we got too attached. Too late – we already loved Blitz and she was a part of our family. We went home devastated.

I decided to research everything I could about Parvo. That evening, after about 3 hours on the internet, I came across a random message board where members were recommending a natural medicine called Parvaid (Paxaid) by Amber Technologies (NaturalZ). I ended up with a phone number to one of their distributors, Wolf Creek Ranch. I spoke to a wonderful woman who let me know how Parvaid (Paxaid) has saved many puppies. Her facility was located 2 hours outside of LA, and she was so kind wanting to help save my dog’s life, that she agreed to meet me off of the highway on a Sunday evening just to give me the Parvaid. When I met her, not only did she give me the Parvaid, she gave me a bottle of Viabactra to bolster Blitz’s immune system as well.

By the time I got home, Blitz was not doing well. She hadn’t eaten anything in two days and was horribly weak. My wife was holding her, and we started her on the Parvaid. We had to administer it in doses hourly throughout the night. By 6AM, she finally walked over to her bowl and began to eat a few pieces of puppy food. >From there on out, she continued to eat. We took her back to the vet a week later, and he couldn’t believe it. Parvaid (Paxaid) beat Blitz’s parvo.

Now, we are here 15 years later and so grateful that Blitz is still with us. She’s been through our wedding, move across country to Florida, 3 kids, 2 cats, and multiple moves. She’s older for sure and aging has occurred. For the occasional stomach aches along the years, we’ve given Blitz Viabactra and it has always helped. We’ve given it to many relatives as well for their pets, and their results have been the same.

About a week and a half ago, Blitz started not wanting to eat. It was like when we first got her. We know that her time is limited with us, but that look on her face of wanting to eat and not being able to just pierces the heart. My wife called me at work a couple days ago, extremely worried because Blitz hadn’t eaten for two full days, was losing weight rapidly, and said we really need to take her to the vet. I came home early and looked at my little girl. I then decided to give Amber Tech a call just to see what they thought. Bill answered and I told him what was going on. Lo and behold, he was completely aware and understanding of her being an older dog and not eating. He immediately recommended Paxxin…formerly known as Parvaid…and said It would help her. We went out that evening and got the Paxxin from a wonderful specialty pet store in Boca who was a distributor of Amber Tech products and started her on it that night. By 4am, she began to eat. It’s 2 full days later and she’s eating throughout the day and has her wag back in her tail. She even did a run around the house!

All I can say is that Amber Naturalz (formerly Technologies) and their Paxxin (Paxaid) has now saved Blitz’s life twice. She’s eating now as I type this. For the time we have left with Blitz, we can know that as she approaches the latter part of her lifespan, she can feel well and age comfortably.

From the bottom of our hearts, we give our most sincere thanks to Amber Tech and their distributors. Your products are literally life savers and your people are truly the most remarkable, caring individuals.

General (Dogs): Give orally every 15 minutes for the first hour, then every hour until the animal’s stomach is calm for 6 hours.

Long Term (Dogs): Give up to 4 times daily until no longer needed.

Additional Amber Glass Bottles like the 1oz or 4oz dropper bottle, can split up the tincture into a smaller bottle which helps to prevent cross contamination. To assure sterile administration without carry over from pet to pet is to use the dropper only to transfer product to an individual sterile oral syringe, using a different syringe for each pet. Those syringes should be sterilized after each use. Each pet should have its own syringe that is not shared with another pet.

The use of a syringe containing measured drops from the dropper will also remove the risk of the animal biting the glass dropper.

These Veterinary Syringes are luer slip syringes without needles that are excellent for administering measured amounts of Colloidal Silver, tinctures, etc. Reinforced tip, large finger grips, smooth draw and easy-to-read graduations.

For use with Paxaid, syringe size needed is based on the weight of the puppy. We suggest two syringes, one for oral doses and one for enema doses (if not being given Sub Q fluids or on IV’s, enemas are or may be necessary to prevent dehydration). Make sure to mark the enema syringe clearly, as you never want to accidentally use an enema syringe for an oral dose, even after it’s been washed.

Active Ingredients per mL: Proprietary Blend of Colloidal Silver, Rosehips, Echinacea Root, Garlic, Oregon Grape Root, Goldenseal Root, Peppermint Leaf, Plantain Leaf, Chamomile Flower, Spearmint Leaf, Yarrow, Hibiscus Flower 148 mg

Inactive Ingredients: Filtered Water, Grain Alcohol USP 19 – 24% by volume

Safe use in pregnant animals or animals intended for breeding has not been proven. If animal’s condition worsens or does not improve, stop product administration & consult your veterinarian. An examination from a veterinarian is recommended prior to using this product.
