Description

We recommend a complete approach to alleviating various skin related conditions:

  • Feed natural species appropriate nutrition
  • While dealing with severe issues do not vaccinate, give traditional flea, tick or heartworm preventatives.  Often traditional preventative treatments can contribute to temporary immune deficiencies.  Do not use traditional flea/tick collars either as they are toxic.
  • Feed raw chicken liver at least 2 to 3 days/week.  Raw liver contains lots of easily assimilated vitamin A, is excellent for the coat, immune system, as well as helping to detox & cleanse the liver.  Raw liver also contains lots of iron which again will help boost the immune system.
  • For horses, goats, llamas, rabbits & other herbivores, feed them real foods rich in vitamin A & C, such as raw carrots, apples, etc.
  • Keep kennels, stalls, coops, litter boxes, barns clean, dry & odor free.
  • Use natural Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth on the grounds in coops, nesting boxes, kennel perimeters, pet bedding, barn floors, manure piles to naturally, safely & effectively deodorize as well as absorb moisture.  This helps make the area less desirable for biting pests to live.
  • Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth topically to lessen pet odors as well as make their fur nice & fluffy.  Apply a light coat only twice/week as it can dry the surface since it is a drying agent.
  • Immune related troubles can be a direct contributor to some derma issues.  Imutek Colostrum is an excellent way to boost the immune system indefinitely; it is safe to use a daily supplement!
  • For more severe issues, we recommend MP Oil combined with a good natural immune system booster such as Vibactra, Vibactra Plus or Colloidal Silver.

What scent do mites hate? Common Q. asked on February 11, 2025

Mites tend to dislike certain natural herbal oils due to their strong scents and properties. Clove, Eucalyptus, Lavender, Peppermint, and Rosemary oils are all effective at repelling mites. These oils have antimicrobial, antifungal, and insect-repelling qualities, making them great natural solutions to deter mites from infesting your home or pet. You can use them in sprays, diffusers, or topical applications (diluted) to help keep mites at bay.

How do you know if mites are biting you? Common Q. asked on February 11, 2025

If you or your pet are experiencing intense itching accompanied by small, red bumps that resemble pimples, and visible burrows in the skin (thin, wavy lines), it's likely a sign of a mite infestation. Mites can cause irritation and discomfort as they burrow into the skin. If you notice these symptoms, it's important to address the issue quickly by using remedies or consulting a vet for proper treatment and care.

Today I found piles of brown scabs and stuff that have been coming from her ears and surrounding skin, where she has been lying and napping. I have been putting the drops in each ear myself, for the last 6 days in a row, but not able on my own to really clean her ears out, and today I felt enough was enough and I got the troops over. Her ears are so much better, but I have come to realize I MUST build up her immune system, otherwise she will always be a magnet for the mites.

External use only. Shake Well before use. Apply externally 1 to 3 times per week to affected furless or featherless areas making sure to apply 1/2″ to 1″ into the surrounding fur/feather area, as that is where the mites are currently residing. For ear mites apply in and around the ear using a cotton ball. Do not put in the eyes.

Apply until crustiness or dark leathery skin disappears, skin looks healthy & normal again or until fur starts to grow back. Depending on the severity of the condition, this can take a few days to 2 weeks.

If you have a severe skin issue, the MP Oil works best in conjunction with Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth to keep the environment dry & odor free, making the environment less attractive to mites, lice & other insects.

Note: Please test on a small area on kittens under 16 weeks old & check for reaction. There have been a couple of isolated cases in young kittens having an allergic reaction.
