Maintenance: Give orally 1 time daily for 7 consecutive days, repeat one week on and one week off, continually.
Cleanse: Give orally 2 times daily, once in the morning and again in the evening for 16-32 weeks.
Additional Amber Glass Bottles like the 1oz or 4oz dropper bottle, can split up the tincture into a smaller bottle which helps to prevent cross contamination. To assure sterile administration without carry over from pet to pet is to use the dropper only to transfer product to an individual sterile oral syringe, using a different syringe for each pet. Those syringes should be sterilized after each use. Each pet should have its own syringe that is not shared with another pet.
The use of a syringe containing measured drops from the dropper will also remove the risk of the animal biting the glass dropper.

During detox, we recommend light activity. Examples would be short walks and roaming freely around the house. We do not recommend running, playing catch, breeding, etc.

We have 2 beagles, Millie 3 1/2 years and her niece Annie 15 months. When we got Millie at 7 weeks old in April 2021, I found a Holistic vet. She gave me HeartGuard for Millie, which I only used for 2 months. I stumbled upon a website of the many complaints of dogs taking HeartGuard showing up as positive when this was supposed to be a preventive, not so!! I then thought there had to be an alternative and found HWF and dogs taking this product getting tested showed up negative. For 3 years in a row, Millie was negative! The vet was surprised! My wife and I have a 10 year old English Bulldog that ended up heartworm positive while on HEARTGUARD. We were dosing him correctly and without fail. Nonetheless he came back positive. Neither the Vet nor HEARTGUARD would take responsibility for the treatment. My wife did some research and found HWF. After 10 months of treating him with HWF he came back 100% negative microfilaria and the antigen test was also negative!!!!!!
This is the absolute best treatment for heartworms. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TO AND HAVE RECOMMENDED THIS TO MY FRIENDS!!!

I put my dog, who was a strong positive, in heartworm free for the 8 weeks specified, at the dose specified. I spent 2 weeks working her up to that dose. She loved it! Took it great.
Within a week the coughing stopped.
Yesterday she went for her test, completely negative!
