This natural Flea Free supplement is added to your dog, cat, or other pet's food or water and goes to work internally in the blood stream and emits an enzyme that shields the protein the female fleas need to lay eggs. Not sensing a protein, she will jump off the pet and search for another blood meal because if she doesn't draw blood every 20 to 22 hours she will die. Males never bite.

Used as directed, Flea Free food supplement works to control fleas and keep other blood feeding insects from biting. As a health food supplement, Flea Free can be used year round in your pet's daily diet. It helps maintain a moist, soft skin and a luxurious thick coat. Prevents dry and itchy skin during the winter months and of course helps prevent itching and scratching in spring, summer, and fall months as it keeps fleas, mites, and other insects away.

Flea Free works on ALL blood-feeding insects: biting flies, fleas, lice, mites, and mosquitoes. For a medium sized dog, just add one tablespoon to one quart of your pet's drinking water or one teaspoon to his food daily, and watch the results you'll get! Since cats weigh less, you can add one teaspoon to the water or one-half teaspoon to the food.

How does Flea Free work?

Garlic is a detoxifier that goes to work internally in the blood. As it passes through the system, cleansing impurities in the blood, it emits an enzyme which shields the protein the female needs in order to lay eggs. The vinegar and other herbs contained in the liquid prevent it from going through the digestive tract, but direct it straight into the blood stream where fleas, mosquitoes, biting flies, and other insects feed.

If you love your pets, don't give them poisons or unnecessary chemicals such as Frontline, Advantage, Revolution, K9 Advantix, etc. You wouldn't give them to your children, so why give them to your other family members?

How long does Flea Free take to work?

Depending on your pet's weight, metabolism, and infestation, along with the overall health of the animal, Flea Free can take as little as three days or as long as 4 weeks. The average length of time is 6 to 10 days. White animals take longest.

Ingredients

Vinegar, Garlic, Lemon Juice and Ginger. The lemon juice is beneficial in supplying vitamin C, providing complex carbohydrates, and anti-oxidants. They also reduce free radical damage to tissue and organ systems.  The ginger, along with the vinegar, help with digesting the Flea Free, to make sure that the Flea Free gets into your pet's system so that it can work.)

Directions for Use

Directions for Use: SHAKE WELL. Add 1 tablespoon of Flea Free to 1 quart of pet's drinking water. You can also use from a few drops to 1 tsp. daily in pet's food (judge by pet size). It will not hurt to use it in both water and food. Use each time you give your pets fresh water. Can premix (4 Tablespoons per gallon of water). Keep in a cool place out of the heat, room temperature or refrigeration is fine. Can be used on all pets, birds, horses, and livestock.

*Note: There are many opinions as to why garlic works for flea control. Some theories suggest:

1. Garlic raises or lowers the pH of the blood making it undesirable to bloodsucking pests.
2. Others suggest that it simply masks the smell of the being, making them invisible to the pests.
3. Others believe it strengthens the pet's immune system, such that fleas, etc. aren't attracted to them. It is said a strong healthy immune system will ward off insect predators, just the same as wolves don't prey on the strongest animals; they prey on the weak, sick, young, and elderly animals.
4. And still others believe it makes them smell nasty to fleas, mites, ticks, etc., so they avoid contact with these pets.

I am not sure which of these is true, but personally, I have seen it work wonderfully with most dogs and cats at the recommended dosages, but not with others. Each pet's body chemistry and metabolism is different. Sometimes it takes some experimentation (increasing the dose or using in BOTH the food and the water) before you find the "right" amount for your pet. And in some cases of major flea infestations in your home on in your yard/property, addressing the adult fleas and larvae may be necessary to prevent them continuous reproduction. Cautions/Warnings

Animals eight weeks or less don’t produce new red blood cells so never give them garlic.

Always be cautious with any medicine or supplement for pregnant dogs. Consult your holistic veterinarian when feeding garlic to expectant mothers. Garlic also changes the taste of breast milk so avoid feeding it to nursing dogs.

Since garlic affects blood clotting don’t use it two weeks before or after any scheduled surgery.

Veterinary herbalist Susan Wynn warns against giving garlic to Akitas and Shiba Inus. These breeds are more sensitive to the hemolytic effects of oxidants such as N-propyl disulphide found in garlic. Consult your holistic vet if you have concerns about your dog’s breed related risks.
