Mix in feed at 1 to 2% of grain ration depending on the species. Thorvin can also be fed free choice, alone or with salt, or top dressed.

nutritionist.
Free-choice Feeding:
Cattle, sheep and goats tend to self-regulate free-choice consumption of Thorvin to
levels consistent with recommended rates. In some cases, animals will consume larger than normal quantities, but this binge typically only lasts
30-60 days, depending on the animal's mineral status. If higher consumption continues beyond 60 days, mix Thorvin with salt, one-to-one, to reduce
intake, and consult your nutritionist. When feeding Thorvin free-choice, provide one covered mineral feeder for every 25-30 cows and every 40-50
sheep or goats. Also make sure animals have access to salt and clean water.
As our soil erodes and is washed into the sea, kelp feeds on the dissolved minerals. Worked into the soil, dried kelp returns depleted minerals to the land, improving texture and fertility. Thorvin's 100% natural organic fertilizer is a non-burning mineralizer. Applied year round to vegetables, ornamentals, and trees it provides excellent vital nutrients our plants need. We use it mixed in water when transplanting as well. The fertilizer ratio of Thorvin Kelp is 1-0-2.
Vegetables: 2-3 cups/100 sq. ft. or 1 to 1.5 cups per 50 ft. row. Feed at planting.

Kelp improves seed generation and root development (mitosis). Before planting or seeding, gently work Thorvin kelp into the soil surface. For transplants and bulbs, sprinkle bottom of hole with a small amount of kelp and work into the soil prior to planting.
Use 1 heaping teaspoon per inch of pot diameter. Gently work Thorvin kelp into the soil surface being careful not to disturb the feeder roots. For large containers, use 2 heaping tablespoons per 100 square inches of soil surface.
Spread evenly on the surface of the soil under drip line of leaves. Gently work into the soil surface being careful not to disturb the feeder roots. Make application in early Spring when flush of new growth appears. Reapply midway through the growing season. Then again in the Fall. Gardens in warm climates may require more frequent applications.
